The Queen has had virtual audiences at Windsor, despite missing the Commonwealth Day service the day before.

On Tuesday, the head of state greeted the ambassadors of Mongolia and Tajikistan via video connection at her Berkshire royal estate, dressed in a blue and grey patterned silk day dress.

Mongolian envoy Enkhsukh Battumur, dressed in traditional Mongolian garb, submitted his letters of credence to the king over the internet.

The Queen, who is 95 years old, also received Tajikistan’s envoy, Rukhshona Emomali.

The Prince of Wales represented his mother at the Commonwealth Day celebrations in Westminster Abbey on Monday.
