The Undertaker stated that he does not believe that today’s WWE stars have the same lifestyle as those of the past. Speaking about how things have changed in today’s social media-obsessed society, he expressed regret for today’s celebrities who are unable to “go somewhere and blow off steam after work” because they are “constantly under some form of surveillance.” The Undertaker reflected on how different the locker room setting was in his youth.

The wrestler noted how few people carried knives and firearms in their bags back in the day. And that any confrontations were “resolved in the showers” back then. When asked about today’s talent, The Undertaker explained what he felt was lacking in today’s stars. Saying, “Today’s product lacks a certain kind of grit in my opinion. I don’t think it’s anyone’s fault. We’d all passed our prime. That new group has risen to prominence. You’re interested in watching Brock wrestle because you know he’s been an amateur wrestler, a professional wrestler, and a mixed martial artist.”

Only a handful WWE Superstars, including Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, and Roman Reigns, are on the list, according to The Undertaker.
