Following a long layoff, Lindsay Lohan surprises fans by sharing her candid insights on the reality of acting.

During Vogue’s Life in Looks video, the Mean Girls star was open about how her role in Netflix’s romantic comedy with Chord Overstreet has made her feel about acting again.

“I had so much joy going to do this because I had such a new appreciation simply from not filming in such a long time,” she said. I was absolutely overjoyed to be there, and appreciative and pleased to be amongst everyone.”

“The difference for me was how fast they film movies now,” she said of the biggest difference she’s noticed since returning to the acting world.

“We shot this in five and a half weeks,” she said, “which is absolutely crazy to me in terms of how rapidly you can produce a movie.”

“The Parent Trap was like eight months, three weeks and two days, I remember that. So this was a whole different experience for me.”
