New disturbing evidence is being produced in court as Johnny Depp’s defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard nears its conclusion.

Amber Heard allegedly pledged to pay the ACLU $3.5 million over ten years, but only came up with $350,000, according to Terence Dougherty, the ACLU’s general counsel.

He added that Depp put up $100,000, with another $500,000 coming from a donor fund, for a total of $1.3 million going to the ACLU.

When asked about attempts to collect the promised cash, Dougherty stated they contacted Heard about the instalments in 2019 and “found that she was having financial issues.”

Depp’s lawyers questioned him first in the actor’s $50 million deposition suit, which took place in December 2021. In December 2021, he gave a video deposition in which he testified.

Dougherty was questioned first by Johnny Depp’s lawyers, and he could be questioned about Amber Heard’s commitment to contribute her $7 million divorce settlement to the ACLU.

Elon Musk, the billionaire, and James Franco, the actor, will not be testifying in Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s defamation trial. Both individuals were listed on Heard’s publicly available witness list at the start of the trial, but Musk’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, stated his client will not testify on Wednesday.
