Anil Kapoor thanks Delhi police for swift actions in the robbery case of his daughter Sonam Kapoor’s Delhi house

On Friday, actor Anil Kapoor resorted to Twitter to send a message to the Delhi Police. After a big heist at his daughter Sonam Kapoor’s Delhi house, the Delhi Police swooped in and apprehended the perpetrators. A nurse and her husband are accused of stealing jewellery and cash worth 2.4 crore from Sonam Kapoor’s in-laws, the Ahujas.

On Thursday, the goldsmith who bought Sonam’s mother-in-stolen law’s jewellery was arrested by the Delhi Police Crime Branch. However a nurse and her husband, who worked for Kapoor, stole the jewellery from her Amrita Shergill Road home. Moreover, Dev Verma, a Kalkaji resident, was identified as the jeweller, according to police.

They said they found stolen jewellery worth over a crore on Dev. Including 100 diamonds, six gold chains, diamond bangles, a diamond bracelet, two tops, and a brass coin. Moreover a Hyundai i10 automobile purchased with stolen funds by the accused couple has also been found. However, other recovery efforts are still underway.

Aparna Ruth Wilson, a staffer at Sonam’s home, and her husband Naresh Kumar Sagar were detained by police from their Sarita Vihar home on Wednesday.
