If Meghan Markle had stayed in the UK, the Queen had grand plans to welcome her into the royal family.

Tina Brown, a royal novelist and Princess Diana biographer, told the Washington Post that the Queen was set to give the Duchess of Sussex one of her most cherished patronages.

“I believe the Queen and the Palace positioned the Sussexes for great success.” I mean, [Ms Markle] was given one of the Queen’s most cherished patronages.

“The National Theatre’s Patron.” What a fantastic opportunity for a former actress. A fantastic and renowned patronage.

“She also appointed her vice-chairman of the Commonwealth Foundation, which, given Meghan’s stated desire to do some worldwide, humanitarian work, is the ideal venue to discuss issues like as women’s education and minorities.”

“This was a brilliant platform that needed to be modernised, dusted off, and repositioned, especially in the current social climate with the Black Lives Matter problem.”

“However, there was a significant function there, a long-standing position, with a lot of longevity for the Sussexes,” she explained.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, on the other hand, have opted to leave the United Kingdom and relinquish their positions as senior royals in the family. The pair now resides in the state of California.
