According to Page Six, actor Brian Austin Green, Megan Fox’s ex-husband, was supposedly ‘bedridden’ for six weeks after contracting ulcerative colitis.

In a new video posted on Thursday, April 14, the Beverly Hills, 90210 star addressed his absence on Instagram, revealing that he was just diagnosed with the terrible illness.

“I had ulcerative colitis for approximately six, six and a half weeks, which wasn’t very enjoyable,” Brian explained.

He went on to praise his pregnant girlfriend Sharna Burgess for supporting him and his three children during his sickness.

“Sharna was incredible. I was six or seven months pregnant and caring for my three little children because I had been bedridden for quite some time.

“I am quite grateful to have someone like her in my life,” he continued.

“Again, I’m a lucky man,” he said in the caption of the photo, referring to Sharna. I adore you, @sharnaburgess.”

Megan is the mother of Brian’s three boys, Noah, Bodhi, and Journey.

The Mayo Clinic describes his condition as “chronic inflammatory bowel disease.” Diarrhoea, stomach discomfort and cramping, rectal pain and bleeding, and weight loss are all possible symptoms.

Brian was married to Megan from 2010 until 2021 and is expecting a baby boy with Sharna later this year. Machine Gun Kelly has proposed to her.
