Cardi B deactivates her Twitter, Instagram accounts

Cardi B, a US rapper, has deactivated her Twitter and Instagram accounts after receiving backlash for failing to attend the 2022 Grammy Awards.

Late Sunday, the I Like It singer deleted her social media accounts.

Cardi also verified it on Twitter before deactivation her accounts.

“I’m deleting my Twitter but On God I hate this …..fan base.”

Fans are also unable to locate her Instagram handle.

Her Twitter account was previously deleted in March 2021 and October 2020.

Cardi, whose song “Up” was nominated for Best Rap Performance at the awards show, had won her first and only Grammy in 2019 for Best Rap Album for “Invasion of Privacy.”
