In a recent interview, Courteney Cox discussed her career lows and dealing with internet trolls.

In an interview with InStyle Magazine, the Scream star talked about how she felt when her programme Charity Chase received a pilot in 2016 but was never picked up for a full season.

“That was a low block to my ego,” the 57-year-old actor told the magazine.

“Especially with the type of role I hadn’t before portrayed,” she noted.

After that, the actor discussed how he received unwelcome comments from social media trolls after joining Instagram.

“For a time, I thought, ‘Oh, terrific!'” she explained. People are so friendly to me, and that makes me so happy!’ I had no notion that if you browse down long enough, you’ll finally reach the really nasty (comments).”

“Like, ‘Wait, why are you doing this idiotic video in the first place?'” ‘Is that even Courteney?’ and ‘Is that even Courteney?’ Courteney said, “They were really disrespectful.”

In his professional life, the actor portrays Patricia “Pat” Phelps in the horror comedy series Shining Vale.
