According to Spanish media, CRISTIANO RONALDO has already begun preparing his wedding to long-term partner Georgina Rodriguez.

SunSport is aware that they have yet to begin their preparations.

In a recent Netflix documentary on his girlfriend, the Manchester United star stated that he was “100% certain” he would marry the Spanish beauty.

According to reports on Spanish showbiz and sports websites today, the pair now has more bills to pay as a result of their wedding preparations.

Spanish digital newspaper OK Diario said: “They have extra spending because they are preparing their marriage.

“Cristiano has found his perfect partner in Georgina and has asked her for her hand in marriage, although they haven’t yet revealed the date of the ceremony.”

Ronaldo’s team denies that this is the case.

The wedding rumours surfaced after a Catalan news website reported that Cristiano, 37, pays Georgina £83,000 each month to cover their children’s expenses, including expensive school fees.

The 28-year-old influencer has a four-year-old daughter with the player, Alana Martina, and also treats his three surrogate children, Cristiano Jr, 12, Eva, and Mateo, both four, as her own.

Her main focus right now is on taking care of herself and her unborn twins, a boy and a girl, as she nears the end of her pregnancy.

Cristiano Ronaldo, whose future at United is unknown, promised to marry his six-year girlfriend Georgina in the blockbuster Netflix show ‘I Am Georgina,’ which premiered on February 27 to coincide with the beautiful brunette’s 28th birthday.

He said: “I always tell Georgina that when we get that click, like everything with our life and she knows what I’m talking about.

“It could be in a year, or it could be in six months or in a month. I’m 1000 per cent sure it will happen.”

In the documentary, Georgina stated that she is waiting for her partner to propose.

She mentioned it in a clip for the show that she shared on Instagram at the beginning of the year.

Georgina admitted when asked in Spanish when she was going to marry Cristiano, the father of four, while travelling with friends on Cristiano’s private jet: “It doesn’t depend on me” before adding: “I wish.”

In a recent interview she gave in her birthplace, Cristiano’s mother was highly positive about her son’s partner.

“Georgina is a great support to Cristiano, no doubt about it,” the Madeira-based mother-of-four told broadcaster and comedian Guilherme Geirinhas.

In previous interviews, Dolores, 67, has referred to Georgina as her prospective “daughter-in-law.”

She said in 2018 of the former shop worker: “She is the mother of my granddaughter. She is a future daughter-in-law. She’s not my daughter-in-law yet. She’s a future daughter-in-law. She’s a very calm person.”
