In a recent interview, Deborra-Lee Furness confessed that she met her husband Hugh Jackman through a clairvoyant.

When she was living in Hollywood, a psychic advised her to return to Australia, according to Gus Worland’s Not an Overnight Success podcast.

“I used to travel a lot between Australia and Hollywood,” Furness recalled. I’d had it with Hollywood and went to see a psychic, who told me I needed to return to Australia.”

“So I returned, and practically everything the psychic stated came true,” she continued. “Corelli, I got this programme, and [Hugh] was my co-star.”

“I didn’t know him, but we had an extraordinary connection,” she said. “And the rest, as they say, is history.”

After meeting a year previously on the latter’s Australian TV series Correlli, Jackman and Furness married in April 1996. Their 26th wedding anniversary was recently celebrated by the pair.

Jackman previously stated in an interview with People Magazine in 2020 that he and his wife “always find time for one other.”

“We’re continuously learning and humans evolve, so you have to reset all the time, even if we’ve been together for 25 years,” the Wolverine star had added.

He went on to say, “I’m always struck by how hilarious she is, how great she is, and how intelligent she is. It gets better the longer it goes on.”
