On Monday night Sam Mitchell returned to EastEnders dramatic fashion during last scene, as actress Kim Medcalf took up the role once more,

While visiting Steve McFadden in prison, Mitchell got to strut up to his table in the visiting room in style wearing blue dress and heeled boots.

Siblings exchanged greetings, brother told her, ‘It’s good to see you, Sam’,

She replied: ‘Yeah, it’s good to be back.’

This soap is leaving us all on anxious until the next episode, but viewers were living for the tease of Sam’s return as her grand entrance was set up with shots excluding her face and identity until Phil got to clap his eyes on her himself.

Plenty of others were pouring Kim’s return as the ‘queen’ of Walford too.

Actress Kim shared “Let’s just say she’s got work to do. Being Sam Mitchell there’s obviously going to be a lot of trouble.

“Trouble follows her in her wake. She’s going to cause lots of drama in typical Sam Mitchell style and she’s also going to upset a few people.”
