GBM was sent into chaos as Susanna Reid suffered a technical blunder while reporting from the Polish-Ukrainian border.

Susanna’s co-host Richard Madeley went solo in the studio today as Susanna presented live on the ground in massive show shake-up.

However, there were some teething problems at the top of the hour when Susanna attempted to read the Medyka headlines.

She told, “There have been air raid sirens and signs of explosions…”

Susanna then cut off and said, “OK, is that… Is that… OK.”

Later after a short pause, she was heard telling her crew, “Oh, I can’t hear anything.”

“We kind of assumed that might happen at some point today. That’s technology 2022 for you.

“Don’t worry, we’ll get the link back up again and working. Let me tell you what’s still to come.”

Susanna was reporting live from Medyka, the busiest crossing for those fleeing war.

Richard and Susanna have both been missing from screens in recent weeks with calls for their urgent return.

She told, “There’s so much emotion here on the ground.”
