According to recent rumours, Justin Timberlake had no intention of ‘throwing shade’ at Britney Spears at the announcement of her pregnancy with partner Sam Asghari.

When approached for a statement on his ex-pregnancy, girlfriend’s the Rock Your Body singer snarled at the paparazzi. However, a source now claims that the artist is angered by being linked to Britney years after their breakup.

“Justin is incredibly pleased for Britney and he knows what an amazing mother she is,” a source told Hollywood Life.

“It was certainly not his desire to disparage Britney,” the source stated. “The last thing he needs right now is additional turmoil in his life.”

According to the insider, the 41-year-old musician became enraged with the media because he gets “hounded with questions whenever Britney is in the news.”

“Everyone in Hollywood has exes,” the insider stated, “and despite the fact that they were the couple to watch for a long time, he’s simply weary of people always linking them together.” Timberlake “didn’t want to come across as careless or furious.”

“Justin has children and a wife, and he’s definitely moved on,” the insider said as a final conclusion. He wants that everyone else does as well.”

Timberlake and the Toxic singer dated from 1999 to 2002. It was speculated at the time that Spears had strayed on her fiancé, resulting in their breakup. Timberlake went on to build a reputation for himself in the music industry as a result of the incident.
