Iqra Aziz Says Her Childhood in Karachi Made Her ‘Street Smart’

Iqra Aziz recently in an interview talked about her childhood days spent on the bustling streets of Saddar area in Karachi. Iqra Aziz is a star now, thanks to her performances in dramas like ‘Suno Chanda’, however, she had a rough and touch childhood.

Iqra comes from a middle class background and grew up in Saddar area of Karachi. She talked about her relationship with her father, who passed away when she was hardly 15. She said, growing up without a father, made her ‘street smart’ to deal with people more confidently. She told she used to roam around the streets of Saddar.

She said, “I grew up going out into the streets in Ramazan and playing on rides because the area is so busy, I have spent my life there, and my mother and grandmother had also lived their whole lives in the area. We lived there for over 30 years. Everyone knew us… I am so thankful that I got to live that life. I know how to be street smart and I know how to deal with people.”
