“I keep reminding myself to be grateful for that time, and I am. You knew how to live life, fearlessly and with heart. You were so reassuring to be around. What a man.”

Continuing the heartbreaking post, Jay said that their friendship is “all memories now” and that every memory is “priceless”.

The musician concluded his message by wishing Tom “had more time,” and thanking him for always being there for him “without fail.”

Thousands of users, including Kelsey, expressed their condolences in the comments section.

Jay’s remarks moved the mother of two, who described them as “wonderful.”

Kelsey continued: “We all loved him so hard and he loved us hard. He was one in a million! So bl***y loved.”

Kelsey and Tom married in 2018 and have two children, Aurelia, three, and Bodhi, one.

Fellow “Beautiful, Bird,” Siva Kaneswaran, the actor of the film Wanted, said, referring to Jay’s moniker Jaybird.

Other celebrities, such as Sam Quek, Kimberley Walsh, and Harry Judd from McFly, expressed their support with red heart emojis.

At Tom’s burial last week, Jay, Siva, and their bandmates Max George and Nathan Sykes carried his coffin.

Max shared a selection of photos from the ceremony on social media following the event.

A big arrangement in the shape of a red heart with TOM in the center followed Tom’s portrait, which was exhibited in a frame covered in white roses.

A big floral display of the words ‘GLAD YOU CAME,’ referring to the band’s number one smash single from 2011, was another tribute to Tom’s accomplishment in The Wanted.

Max stated that Tom had given him more than he “could ever wish for” and that carrying his casket was “an honor.”

During the ceremony, Kelsey told the crowd that Tom was her “soulmate”.

In a pre-recorded message, Kelsey said,  “Tom told me he was going to be famous and wouldn’t have time for a girlfriend, but he wouldn’t leave me alone.

“I will treasure every memory because life with you was never dull.

“Marrying you was the best day of my life… soulmates, that’s what we are.”
