Last week, “Game of Thrones” actor Joseph Gatt was detained after LAPD police said he was involved in “online s****lly explicit communication” with a minor. Other victims are being sought by investigators.

Gatt was arrested in his house on April 6 after officers executed a residential home search warrant, according to the LAPD. The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) of the Los Angeles Police Department got a report that he had allegedly used the Internet to communicate lewd messages with a minor in another state.

Detectives apprehended Gatt for having “contact with a minor for s***al offence” on an outstanding felony warrant. The LAPD asked other victims or anybody with relevant information to contact them immediately in a news release posted to their website on Tuesday.

According to TMZ, Joseph Gatt was released the following day on $5,000 bond. Gatt made a statement on his detention and the charges on Wednesday, writing on Twitter: “I obviously want to address the absolutely horrifying and completely untrue allegations recently leveled against me. They are 100% categorically wrong and reckless. I have confirmed errors and misleading information in today’s press release. I am fully cooperating with police and LAPD to get to the bottom of this. I look forward to clearing my good name. Thank you to all my friends and supporters who know that this is untrue and understand for legal reasons I cannot comment further on social media.”

Joseph Gatt portrayed Thenn Warg in the HBO series “Game of Thrones.” He’s also appeared in “Dumbo,” “Thor,” and “Star Trek Into Darkness,” among other films. In the upcoming DC film “Black Adam,” he has a minor role.
