Anushka Sharma’s brother Karnesh Ssharma talks about her priorities in a recent interview
Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actress who has not only given remarkable...
Babil, the son of late actor Irfan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar, will make his acting debut in Bulbul filmmaker Anvita Dutt’s Qala. Tripti Dimri will be sharing the screen with him.
Qala is produced by Clean Slate Filmz, which was formed by Anushka Sharma’s brother, Karnesh Sharma, while Anvita is directing the film.
Karnesh recently spoke out about Babil Khan’s acting debut, saying that he possesses Irfan’s rawness. In an interview with India Today, he stated, “The rawness that Irrfan had, Babil carries that. My personal request to all of you is that let him be and let him express himself. He is really young and has a lot of pressure on him.”
He added, “A humble request would be to let him express himself and enjoy what he has done, rather than putting pressure. The rawness and the form of acting that Irrfan was known for, I think Babil carries that legacy.”
Babil Khan was brought on board for the project solely on the basis of his talent, according to the producer. When he came in for the auditions, neither he nor Anvita (director) realised he was Irrfan’s son, Karnesh said, adding that Babil is a brilliant performer. He continued to speak about the film, saying that Babil did an excellent job on it.
