Khalil-ur-Rehman retweeted Mahira’s post and expressed sorrow for casting Mahira Khan as the main character in his drama series Sadqay Tumharay. Prior to this, he expresses displeasure for casting Adnan Malik in the same drama as the main character.

Following Khalil’s tweet, the public has criticised and appears to be dissatisfied with these statements, stating that whatever their previous grievances maybe, they should be forgotten because Mahira did an outstanding job in this position.
