Lollywood film ‘Javed Iqbal’ is set to premiere at the UK Asian Film Festival

Yasir Hussain, who plays Javed Iqbal in the film Javed Iqbal: The Untold Story of a Serial Killer, expressed his thanks when revealing that his film Javed Iqbal: The Untold Story of a Serial Killer would debut at the UK Asian Film Festival.

Taking to Instagram, the Lahore Se Aagey actor shared the news, as reported by Deadline, and expressed his dismay that our own people are incapable of recognising noteworthy local work.

“Eh bohot fakhar ki baat hai k UK Asian Film Festival hamari movie ko itni izzat de raha hai magar afsos hai k hum kabhi apna content aur apny log pehchan nahi paaty (It’s a matter of great pride that UK Asian Film Festival is honouring our movie but, sadly, our own people do

“Pakistan mai yeh Pakistani kahani ban ho gai magar eid pe aap apny culture pe banai gai 5 movies zaroor dekhiye gai (Pakistan has banned the Pakistani narrative, but you must go to theatres on Eid to see the 5 movies created based on our culture)” he said.
