Mehreen Jabbar’s telefilm Farar will be remark as a web series after 25 years

Mehreen Jabbar, a Pakistani film and television director, and producer residing in New York City, was born on December 29, 1971. Javed Jabbar, a Pakistani journalist, is her father.

Last week, Mehreen Jabbar stated that she will remake her popular 1995 telefilm ‘Farar’ as a web series, with Sarwat Gillani Tooba Siddiqui, Mariam Saleem, Maha Hasan, Zahid Ahmed, and Saleem Meraj starring.

Mehreen Jabbar informed fans of the news with a nostalgic Instagram post with the caption, “25 years later, three friends trying to get by and shine in the glorious and mad city that is Karachi. From old Farar to a new Farar. Coming this year.”
