Kim Kardashian acknowledges that her breakup with Kanye West, as well as the subsequent controversy, was too much for her to bear.

The 41-year-old admitted her life is difficult in an interview with ABC News’ Robin Roberts ahead of the premiere of her new Hulu project her family.

“How have you leaned on your family through your divorce with Kanye?” asks the host.

“It’s hard to live your life on a reality show and then say I want certain things to be private,” Kim responds at one point.

Kim goes on to say that she ‘absolutely’ believes she still has to earn the respect of others. Roberts admits that her current situation seems unreal to her.
