Piers Morgan has renewed his fight with Dan Walker after the star quit BBC Breakfast for Channel 5.

Morgan enjoyed some friendly rivalry with his fellow journalist Dan, 45, after he teased his big money move to Channel 5 news.

Star, has presented BBC Breakfast since 2016, will be presenting the channel’s revamped 5 News, as well as a number of other shows for the broadcaster.

Whereas, Piers’ new show Piers Morgan Uncensored , is set to launch on April 25 at 8pm, and this will be a “fearless forum” that will take on cancel culture.

Before launch, Piers was asked about his and Dan’s healthy conflict.

Piers replied, “Dan who? Hasn’t he disappeared to Channel 5 or something. He disappeared with his tail between his legs after we beat him in the ratings.

“It was actually quite priceless as we beat the BBC on my last day [on ITV ’s Good Morning Britain] so he couldn’t ever do anything about it.

“He could never beat us again. Anyway, best wishes to Dan. I hope he enjoys Channel 5. Is that still on TV?

“Apparently, yes.”

Meanwhile Piers is set to come back to screens next week as  he celebrates free speech and the right for people to share their views – even if they ruffle feathers.
