Robert Downey Jr., best known for his roles as Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes on the big screen, has now shifted his focus to advocating for climate-friendly food choices. ‘Cool Food: Erasing Your Carbon Footprint One Bite at a Time,’ written by the Hollywood celebrity and bestselling author Thomas Kostigen. Blackstone Publishing has acquired the rights to the book. Which according to the authors, will present a smart, accessible, and game-changing roadmap for choosing climate-solving food choices.

Downey, Jr. has delved into nutrition since early in his Marvel stint as Iron-Man to prepare for the rigours of that role, and this is his first significant non-fiction book.

“While there has been a fixation in Hollywood with reducing carbon footprints, doing so through a diet seems a new twist,” writes a publication.” Blackstone has not announced a release date.
