Sarah Michelle Gellar and Billie Eilish have declared their love for one other on social media.

It all started on Wednesday, when the Grammy-winning singer made a ‘Ask me a question’ option available to her Instagram fans.

One of her admirers inquired about her “celebrity infatuation,” and the singer-songwriter responded with a photo of Gellar from her days as Buffy in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
A few hours later, the Emmy-winning actress was overjoyed to learn that her favourite singer’s crush was none other than her.

“I am dying,” she said on her Instagram page after reposting the Happier Than Ever singer’s reaction. That is all there is to it. I’m no longer a child, but I have a huge crush on @billieeilish. “OK… that’s truly it,” the caption said.

Meanwhile, the Scream actress’s message received a lot of positive feedback from her fans and friends.

“Billie only picks the finest,” one person wrote. “Buffy is one of our favourite shows.”

“I suppose you’re everyone’s childhood crush, lol,” another fan said. “It included my name.”
