Simon Cowell confessed that it would be sanctimonious if he would say he didn’t make money from X Factor.

Simon admitted that the salaries The X Factor judges earned were huge and ‘out of whack’. He was the judge on the talent show from 2004 until the moment it was cancelled in 2018. The main judges on the show included Sharon Osbourne & Louis Walsh.

While interview, he confessed that Cheryl, Robbie, Ayda, Dannii and himself received a lot of money.

He told: “The salaries got out of whack. I’d be a hypocrite if I said I hadn’t made a lot of money.

“But it got too crazy. And, going back to The X Factor, I’m not even sure artists should be judging other artists. I think it’s in their DNA to want to find a star.”

Though The X Factor got cancelled, he still searches for talent on America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent which will be back in next week. Simon was also judge on American Idol and the US version of The X Factor.
