Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s adored daughter, will star in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor’s sister Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. The Archies, based on the classic comic book, began filming on April 18 and producer Reema Kagti announced the news on social media.

Suhana Khan has always been in the spotlight, even before her debut. Avril revealed in a 2018 Vogue interview when her parents Gauri and Shah Rukh Khan realised she was serious about acting. Suhana remarked, “I don’t think I made a decision at one point. I’ve always done these accents and impressions. My parents finally realised I was serious about performing after seeing my first performance. I was Miranda in The Tempest at school.” Suhana was the only female character in the drama.

Director Zoya Akhtar revealed her upcoming film ‘The Archies’ in November last year. According to media reports, the film will be shot in Ooty and nearby hill stations. In the movie, Agastya will play Archie Andrews, while Khushi and Suhana will play Betty and Veronica.
