We’ve heard about it since early 2019, and now the official trailer for Mike Myers’ new comedy series (“Wayne’s World,” “Austin Powers” series) is here! Myers will portray numerous characters in the half-hour comedic series, which he will also executive produce. We already know that “The Pentaverate” will be released on May 5th (5/5 – all the 5’s), with Myers starring alongside Ken Jeong (“The Hangover”), Keegan-Michael Key (“Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey”), Debi Mazar (“Entourage”), Richard McCabe (“1917”), Jennifer Saunders (“French and Saunders”), and Lydia West (“Dracula”).

The series follows a secret society that has been attempting to sway world events since 1347, as well as an unlikely Canadian journalist who finds himself in the middle of a mission to unearth the truth and maybe save the world. It’s a shame the season is just six episodes long instead of five…
