Rae Allen, Tony Award winner, known for her character in, A League of Their Own and The Sopranos, passed away on Wednesday morning at the age of 95.

Actress started her career life on Broadway after graduating from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1947.

She received her very first Tony nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play as the reporter Gloria in Damn Yankees in 1955.

After that she earned another nomination in 1967 for Traveler without Luggage. And finally she won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for And Miss Reardon Drinks A Little in 1971.

She started acting television and film roles in 1958, by recreating her stage role in the film adaptation of Damn Yankees.

Rae made appearances in The Untouchables, Car 54, and Where Are You? And The Patty Duke Show. She also played Edith Bunker’s cousin Amelia in All in The Family.

Before being cast as Aunt Quintina Blundetto in the crime drama, The Sopranos, she did her appearence on Seinfeld as Mrs. Sokol
