The Weeknd & Swedish House Mafia will take Kanye West’s place at Coachella after rapper dropped out after assaults on Kim Kardashian
The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia are slated to take the position of Kanye West as Coachella’s Sunday headliners.
Following his online insults against his ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian and her current lover Pete Davidson, Ye and guest Travis Scott both dropped out of the event.
Swedish House Mafia was supposed to close the night on Friday, but they’ve moved it to Sunday to make up for the absence of Kanye West.
According to TMZ, The Weeknd has agreed to attend the much-anticipated event.
Last year, the singer and the supergroup collaborated on a song called Moth to a Flame, which they released together.
Coachella, a music festival in Indio, California, is set to begin later this month.
It will take place over two weekends, from April 15 to 17 and April 22 to 24.
