Tollywood Director Sarath passed away, Veteran Tollywood director’s hit movies in 1980s and 1990s succumbed to cancer.

According to reports his last rituals would be performed on Saturday at Maha Prasthanam in Hyderabad.

Nandamuri Balakrishna the Akhanda star and politician in his one statement condoled the demise of director. Nandamuri recalled his association with the veteran and said that they had worked together on films like, “Peddannayya, Vamsanikokkady, Sultan and Vamsoddarakudu”. Actor said, “His passing away has saddened me, I have lost a good friend, a selfless person. I pray that his soul rests in peace.” Balayya said in his one statement that “Bandhuvulosthunnaru Jagratha, Peddintalludu, Collecter G’aari Alludu, Bava Bavamaridhi, Dongalludu, Chinnalludu, Abbayi Gari Pelli” are his well-known titles.
