Tracee Ellis Ross recently discussed her personal growth, saying that she was pleased of who she was today since she had never felt comfortable in her own skin before.

Despite the fact that the Girlfriends star is the daughter of legendary singer Diana Ross, she has carved a name for herself in Hollywood because to her dedication to her work.

In the midst of it all, the High Note actor surprised fans by opening up to Instyle magazine and sharing information about her personal growth.

“I’m incredibly proud of who I’ve become as a woman,” she continued, “because at 49 years old, I can bear both the pain for what hasn’t occurred and the excitement for what is occurring.”

“I’m present in my experience with a sense of fullness that I could never have imagined as a child since I was constantly in pain.”

“I truly feel comfortable in my skin now,” she concluded. I’m not sure I would have believed you if you told me it was going to happen.

She also learned that recognising that her joy and acceptance were contingent on her terms was an important part of her road to comfort.

“Young girls are trained to fantasise about their weddings rather than the life they want to live or the people they want to become,” said Ross, who is blissfully single. “As a youngster, I was not spared such messaging – not from my mother or father, but from the culture in which we lived.”

She claimed that she daydreamed about her wedding a lot. She went on to say that if she had utilised those moments to think about her goals, she might have been able to attain them sooner.
