Earlier this week, Zoya Akhtar shared a clapperboard with the words ‘The Archies’. We’d already disclosed that Zoya will be debuting Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda with a Hindi rendition of the world-famous comics The Archies.

Agastya will play Archie in the show, while Khushi will play Betty. Suhana is left with Veronica. If previous adaptations are any indication, Archie and Veronica will fall in love. Agastya and Suhana as Archie and Veronica may make for a nice cinematic couple. What do we mean?

This week in Ooty, the project began. Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda were spotted on set in Mumbai a few weeks ago, while she hasn’t confirmed the lead cast.

Thanks to Suhana and Agastya’s fan clubs, we found this previously unseen photo of them smiling for the camera. The old snapshot shows the two stars at a party, proving their on-screen compatibility.
