Danniella Westbrook took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the results of her recent nose surgery, which was the first of a series of procedures.

After years of drug misuse caused her nose to collapse, the former EastEnders actress, 48, was shown with a fully bandaged face last week. She recently announced plans to have a rib implanted into her face as one of those surgeries.

Danniella revealed her new look in a humorous video on Instagram, where she posed for the camera.

The actress wore a white jacket with beautiful black thread pattern, her blonde hair done in a trendy bob, and glamorous make-up.

Danniella Westbrook had a rib insertion procedure in 2018 after osteoporosis withered away her cheekbones and gums, and she is trying to go back to her best after spending the last year getting lip filler and Botox, as well as face surgery.

Despite the fact that the former Celebrity Big Brother housemate has undergone five reconstructive surgeries, she continues to be attacked by vicious online trolls who encourage her to ‘just go and kill yourself.’

She told The Sun: ‘I hate the way I look. I’m constantly made fun of, and trolled for

‘People message me, saying, ‘You’re so ugly, you’re a junkie, you should just go and kill yourself.’ I’ve also had messages saying they are glad I’m not coming back to EastEnders because no one wants me scaring their kids on the telly.’

The actress emphasises, however, that she is not having surgery to placate her tormentors; rather, she wants to be content with herself and no longer suffer from the breathing problems she has as a result of her collapsed face.

She explained: ‘I’ve got to a point where looking like this upsets me, so I’m going to make a change — not because of what others think but so I can be happy with the way I am.

‘It will change the way I look but also help my breathing and sinus issues.

‘So it’s about my health as well. I’ll be in for the big surgery, which is the bone replacement, at the end of April. And then the final operation to tweak and finish the nose is at the end of May.’

Speaking to OK! magazine about her latest bout of facial reconstruction, she explained: ‘I’m going through a lot operations at the moment. They’re good but they’re very hard.’

She continued: ‘The first two of my operations haven’t taken a toll on me but the next lot will do. I’m seeing a bone surgeon next who is going to be removing a rib.’

Danniella Westbrook said in February that she was looking forward to her impending procedures.

Sharing a throwback snap of herself on Instagram, she penned: ‘Can’t wait for all my surgery to be done … will be back too my best and fighting fit and next year I will be 50! Bring it on … I’m ready…. More than ready, I’m ready for a full transformation physically.’

Danniella Westbrook had previously promised to change her life after years of drug misuse and a relapse into ‘cocaine and champagne’ last year.

The actress’ drug problems have been well-documented, and she famously had her septum rebuilt in 2002 after her septum collapsed due to extensive cocaine use.

She was said to be using up to five grammes of cocaine each day at one point, spending up to £250,000 on the drug.

The actress has since undergone many rehab stints in try to overcome her addictions, and in June 2020, she declared she was fully clean after attending a clinic in Mijas, Spain.
