Ali Sethi reveals the inspiration of the acclaimed song ‘Pasoori’

Since Priyanka Mattoo, an Indian Journalist claimed that it was India, Ali Sethi finally revealed the truth.

The singer Ali Sethi revealed the song’s inspiration, saying that while in India for a performance, he was warned by officials that he could not perform because extremists could set the studio on fire. He said that after hearing them, he immediately remembered the phrase “Aag Lawaan Majburi Nu,” which he read on the back of a truck in Pakistan’s Punjab province.

Ali Sethi told an American magazine that he delivered the song’s lyrics to music producer Zulfi Khan as an audio file last year. Zulfi liked it so much that he recruited Shey Gill. Requesting her to perform the song in Coke Studio with Ali Sethi.
