Meanwhile, Alia has a number of intriguing films in the works. The actress is currently filming Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, a film directed by Karan Johar and starring Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. After Gully Boy, this is Alia’s second collaboration with Ranveer. Alia will also star alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy in Ayan Mukerji’s much-anticipated fantasy drama Brahmastra. The project will be Alia’s first onscreen collaboration with her husband Ranbir, with the first instalment set to hit theatres on September 9th.

Furthermore, Alia and Ranbir married in April of this year in front of intimate friends and family members.
