Amanda Holden sobbed as she saw a choir of frontline workers, including paramedics and cops, perform an original song about the coronavirus outbreak. The crowd and judges were greatly moved by the touching track, giving the Frontline Singers a standing ovation.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, James Beeny and Gina Georgio established the choir to offer joy to the globe after a tough two years.

Some lyrics were, “Where every boy and every girl living in this strange old world.

“We’ll see the best that we can be…they will learn from you and me.”

After their performance Alesha  said, “I found that really moving. I hung on to every single world. It was so poignant, so lovely and we are in debt to you. It was very touching.”

Amanda said, “It was just wonderful we could be a part of it all and you get this moment because it was tremendous.”

And Simon remarked, “What we’ve gone through the last two years, it’s surreal. Out of it comes moments like this.

“It gives us a chance to say thank you to all of you because it’s people like yourselves who protected all of us. We have good times ahead I think.”

In the first national lockdown, The Frontline Singers recorded a virtual performance of Strange Old World – an original song written by James and Gina to raise charitable funds for the NHS.

From police officers and doctors to top West End professionals, the group has come together to spread a message of hope and solidarity through song.

In the autumn of 2021, the group came together from around the country to sing together in person for the first time.

Fans watching at home were just as touched by lyrics, with one person wrote, “#BritainsGotTalent Oh my this NHS /front line choir. Brilliant I’m in tears 😢😢😢😢They are so good too ❤❤❤.”

While a third added, “Crying at britains got talent! That song speaks volumes 🥲 #frontlinesingers #BritainsGotTalent.”
