After a week-long pause, the defamation trial against Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has resumed.

Amber Heard mentioned Elon Musk briefly during her testimony in Johnny Depp’s defamation trial, which resumed after a week’s hiatus on Monday.

The Aquaman actress testified again, this time about attending the 2016 Met Gala alone. She was supposed to accompany Johnny, but “he effectively stood me up,” she said.

“[Musk] was present, along with his mother. He reminded me that we had previously met… He appeared to be a gentleman. He was extremely pleasant.”

They “became friends,” she added.

After a week-long pause, the defamation trial against Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has resumed.

Depp is suing Amber Heard for $50 million after she implied in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed that he abused her. Despite the fact that she did not name him, he claims her allegations affected his ability to work.

Heard has already testified extensively about her troubled relationship with Depp, including details about alleged physical fights.

As part of Heard’s case, Johnny Depp could be called back to testify. Whitney Henriquez, Heard’s sister, and actor Ellen Barkin, with whom Depp had a brief relationship in the 1990s, will also testify before the jury.
