During a recent visit to Ukraine, Angelina Jolie was compelled to seek cover as an air raid siren sounded.

The Eternals actress visited Lviv on Saturday as a special ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to meet with displaced families and refugees in order to highlight the impact of Russian soldiers’ invasion earlier this year.

Angelina Jolie can be seen sprinting from a building with a group of other evacuees when an air raid siren sounds in a video posted to the Ukraine Media YouTube account. She walks down a lengthy stairwell and out into the open, hundreds of feet distant.

Toward the end of the clip, Angelina waves toward the camera and assures fans, “I’m okay.”

In March, the actress travelled to Yemen to emphasise the importance of mobilising immediate support for humanitarian efforts around the world.

“As we continue to watch the horrors unfolding in Ukraine, and call for an immediate end to the conflict and humanitarian access, I’m here in Yemen to support people who also desperately need peace. The situation here is one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world,” the 46-year-old acknowledged.
