The trial is now in the hands of the court after weeks of testimony in the blockbuster defamation trial, which has aired the good and bad of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s former relationship.

Experts say that regardless of the outcome of Depp’s $50 million lawsuits and Heard’s $100 million countersuits, the future of the celebrity couple’s careers will be decided in the court of public opinion.

According to CNN, a Hollywood specialist said “Both are severely afflicted. Money is poisonous, and greed is destructive. No one wins in this game.”

Naturally, once their legal battle is done, both performers will face challenges.

Depp was allegedly verbally and physically abusive, according to Amber Heard. During their relationship, she also accused the actor of sexual violence. Depp, on the other hand, stated that he has never struck a woman, rejected Heard’s charge of sexual battery, and claimed that he was a victim of Heard’s domestic abuse, which she disputes.

According to some experts, film studios may be cautious to interact with actors embroiled in a highly publicized issue.

The complaints allege that the ex-professions, the couple’s notably their prospects in respective film franchises, have been harmed.

The producer of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” films, Jerry Bruckheimer, told The New York Times that Depp’s role in a hypothetical sequel “has still to be resolved.”

Whatever happens, the case’s closing arguments are scheduled for Friday, and the jury is likely to begin deliberations that afternoon.

According to several analysts and film business titans, Johnny Depp will be able to be cast in a variety of indie films because his name value is still strong and there is an audience for him.
