In a recent shocking interview, Bill Gates appeared to reveal that he was the primary reason for the dissolution of his 27-year marriage to Melinda Gates.

While promoting his new book with Today anchor Savannah Guthrie, the Microsoft founder was questioned, “Were you unfaithful in your marriage?” “Was this one of the causes for the divorce?”

“I obviously made mistakes, and I accept responsibility,” Bill said simply in response to this basic inquiry.

While he would not go further, Bill did say, “I don’t believe diving into the particulars at this time is productive, but yeah, I caused suffering, and I feel horrible about it.”

Bill’s remarks came nearly a year after he and ex-wife Melinda declared the end of their marriage. Bill acknowledged to having an affair with a Microsoft employee “nearly 20 years ago” at the time.

Melinda has also been questioned if Bill’s adultery was the cause of their divorce, and she told CBS Sunday Morning in March, “Those are issues Bill needs to address.”
