Cardi B broke her silence on the enormous trolls who were critical of her performance at the Met Gala afterparty, saying she ‘hates’ being famous.

In a live conversation on Instagram, the 29-year-old rapper lambasted the naysayers, claiming that she has not been disguising her actual self since 2014.

“Permit me to tell you something. If you want to be rich and famous, don’t want to be famous. “I’d like to be wealthy,” she added.

“It’s as though God punished me with fame… “Fame is like, urgh, I hate it here,” she continued.

“If I could click my (expletive) feet three times and return to (expletive) 2013, when I was just a normal (expletive) dancer and getting money every night, that’s where I’d like to be.

“This entire “follow the rules” thing, where you have to monitor what you say and what you do, is not me; it’s ludicrous. “I’m not sure why I’m continually getting in problems,” she continued.

This comes on the heels of a big reaction triggered by a viral video in which the rapper can be seen cheering up the attendance as Billie Eilish turns to her buddy and mouths, “This is so strange.”

“It’s as though God punished me with fame… “Fame is like, urgh, I hate it here,” she continued.
