The God of Thunder got a ‘better look’ in the second teaser for Marvel’s forthcoming flick Thor: Love and Thunder. A scene of Chris Hemsworth’s titular superhero standing shirtless on Mount Olympus appeared in the trailer’s concluding minutes.

While some of Chris was obscured in the teaser, fans are confident that the film will have the first-ever naked moment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

On Tuesday, the second trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder was released. The teaser featured additional glimpses of Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster in her new incarnation as the Mighty Thor, as well as Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher, the film’s main adversary. Fans, on the other hand, were drawn to a moment towards the trailer’s finale.

Thor is bound in Mount Olympus as Zeus (Russell Crowe) zaps him in order to ‘tear off his disguise.’ Zeus then ‘flicks’ off the disguise, but in the process, he mistakenly takes off all of Thor’s garments. “Dammit you flicked too hard!” says Thor.

A long view from behind displays Thor in all his glory, although with his rear obscured, while ladies swoon and faint from seeing Thor bare naked.

The big reveal has elicited a mixed reaction from fans, with many wishing for the blur to be removed from the theatrical version.
