CTD reveals that terrorist involved in Sadar blast steered from Iran

Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) DIG Syed Khurram said in his statement that the terrorist involved in Sadar’s blast was receiving instructions from Iran.

While speaking at a press conference in Karachi, CTD DIG Syed Khurram with Administrator Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and Sindh Government Spokesperson Murtaza Wahab said that the terrorists received training from their leaders in Iran and instructions were also being received from the neighbouring country.

Syed Khurram said that the terrorist who was killed in May 12, the encounter was Allah Dino Rahmon, he was a resident of Umerkot, he said Allah Dino was an expert in making IEDs and had been involved in blasts in different parts of Sindh.

He further added that the slain terrorist was involved in attacks on railway track incident in Sindh while he had also received Rs. 200,000 for the recent blasts.

While briefing the blast Syed Khurram said the terrorist had been travelling on a bicycle for five kilometres before the blast and then sat in a hotel waiting, as soon as a law enforcement vehicle passed by, he blew himself up.

However, in the video related to the incident that appeared on media, the terrorist could be seen taking orders from Iran and Allah Dino was clearly seen in the footage.

The DIG CTD further said that Asghar Shah, the head of SRA from Iran, had instructed Allah Dino that a terror finance team was also working on the case.

He said that these people received Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 for blasting on a railway track, Syed Khurram said Allah dino got around 2,00,000 for this attack.

Later, Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab said that Sindh province was saved from major terrorist activity. The slain terrorist Allah Dino had been granted bail in various cases.

“The province has been braving the terrorist acts, the court is requested to make a policy regarding bail of such miscreants”, he added.
