The musician is expected to play his ballad “Perfect” at a Jubilee Pageant next weekend as a special memorial to the Queen and Prince Philip, according to reports.

According to sources, Sheeran will perform the song while images of the Queen and Prince Philip are projected on huge screens around the stage during the carnival procession through London’s streets on Sunday.

Edward Christopher Sheeran MBE is an English singer-songwriter. Born in Halifax, West Yorkshire and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk, he began writing songs around the age of eleven. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project.
