The daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow has accomplished a big milestone. The Oscar winner, 49, honoured Apple Blythe’s 18th birthday on Saturday by sharing a photo of the birthday girl smiling in a mirror with a nice note on Instagram.

Read the caption of the post, “18. I’m a bit of a loss for words this morning. I could not be more proud of the woman you are. You are everything I could have dreamed of and so much more.”

Added, “Proud doesn’t cover it, my heart swells with feelings I can’t put in to words. You are deeply extraordinary in every way.”

Take a look at the full message in the post which is given below:

Apple was born in May 2004 to the actress and her ex-husband Chris Martin, with whom she also has a 16-year-old son Moses. Paltrow is also the stepmother of Brody and Isabella Falchuk, the children of her husband Brad Falchuk. Paltrow previously stated to PEOPLE that Martin, 45, came up with their daughter’s unusual name.

She shared last month during a Q&A on her Instagram Story, “Her dad came up with the name and I fell in love with it. I thought it was original and cool. I can’t imagine her being called anything else!”
