In honour of its 30th anniversary, Disneyland Paris has announced the construction of its own Avengers Campus this summer. On July 20, the Marvel Studios-themed zone in France will join its counterpart on the West Coast, further expanding the theme park cinematic world.

Iron Man, who will be featured as an animatronic in Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, a roller coaster that will take you on a mission alongside Tony Stark and Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, made the news below.

Flight Force is a reimagining of the Rock n’ Roller Coaster, as discussed by Imagineer Björn Heerwagen during a recent Disneyland Paris Imagineering conference, “We’re blessed with being able to come into an existing attraction, Rock n’ Roll Coaster, and re-theme it Marvel. That’s going fantastically,” he said. “We have video, we have audio, we have Iron Man. The Iron Man figure is the first fully electric figure that this park has seen, with 43 functions.”

The Iron Man animatronic will not be the only robot guarding Avengers Campus; Stark Tech’s AI FRIDAY will be keeping an eye on visitors as well. It will be shown exclusively on the building face to welcome guests, detect dangers, and alert the public to the Avengers’ presence across the land.

We’re good as long as FRIDAY and the Iron Man robot don’t become self-aware and turn against mankind, right?

Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, which is the same as the Disney California Adventure ride, as well as a Pym’s Kitchen with its little or gigantic food, will be available at Avengers Campus. Stark Factory, a new addition to the campus, will provide more culinary alternatives. You’ll be able to encounter characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe such as Black Panther, the Dora Milaje, Thor, Loki, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Widow, and more, much like the West Coast version.
