Johnny Depp’s lawyer says actor ‘is no saint’ but ‘not an abuser’
Jhonny Depp defamation case against Amber Heard, Camille Vasquez gave the final argument in Johnny on friday
On Friday, Camille Vasquez, Johnny Depp’s lawyer, began her closing statement in the actor’s defamation action against his ex-wife Amber Heard, stating that his ‘life was at stake.’
According to the New York Post, Vasquez, who was dressed entirely in white for her concluding remarks, alleged that Heard had filed a “false report” accusing Depp of domestic abuse.
She went on to say that not only was Depp’s ‘good name’ and reputation on the line, but his life as well.
“What’s at stake at this trial is a man’s good name. More than that, what is at stake at this trial is a man’s life: the life he’s lost when he was accused of this heinous crime, and the life he could live when he is finally vindicated,” Vasquez said.
