Filming ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ with Hollywood star Tom Cruise was a “pinch-me moment,” according to actor Jon Hamm.

The 51-year-old actor, who plays Cyclone in the long-awaited action sequel, says it was a dream come true to be a part of a film with such a “deep history,” according to Hamm.

In the midst of his appearance on ‘Smallzy’s Surgery’, Jon Hamm Stated, “To be able to work on a film like this that has such a profound history and to be able to work on it and work with Tom and (producer) Jerry Bruckheimer and everyone else that is involved with the making of this movie, was a bucket list dream come true kind of pinch-me moment, for sure.”

Unlike his co-stars, Jon Hamm was relieved that he didn’t have to perform any of the stunts that required flying. Glen Powell recently confessed that while filming the movie, he did “a lot of puking.”

The 33-year-old actor, who plays pilot Jake ‘Hangman’ Seresin in the film, and his co-stars went through three months of training to become accustomed to g-force before shooting, but only lead actor Tom Cruise remained unaffected while in the air.
