K-pop Band BTS, The Grammy-nominated South Korean boy band BTS will meet with President Joe Biden next week to discuss “Asian inclusion and representation” as well as hate crimes and prejudice against Asians, according to the White House.

The musical group’s visit to the White House comes after Biden’s travel to South Korea, a US ally, last week.

Biden has made it clear that he is committed to tackling an increase in anti-Asian hate crimes. The COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act was brought into law by the Democratic president last year.

Biden and BTS (Bangtan Boys) will also talk about diversity and the K-pop group’s agenda as youth ambassadors.

Last year, the band received its first Grammy nomination for the song “Dynamite,” which was released as a present to fans who had been isolated due to the coronavirus pandemic.
